1 yr stats...

Yesterday we went to see Dr. Sampson for Graham's 1 year well check. Here are his measurements.

Weight - 22 lbs. 3 oz. (50th percentile)
Height - 30 1/2 inches (75th percentile)
Head - 19 inches (90th percentile)

He got 2 shots and handled them very well. She suggested that we gradually add ounce by ounce of milk to his formula bottles to see if he is going to tolerate milk since he has been on Nutramigen since birth. I gave him a bottle at nap today (5 ounces formula, 1 ounce milk). So far, so good.

I guess it will be time to start weaning him off the bottle over the next couple months. This was hard for me to do with Morgan and it is going to be hard again with Graham. I love that time with my babies!

As far as food goes Dr. S. suggested we still hold off from peanut products and shellfish until around 18-24 months because of possible allergic reactions. She said no hotdogs, marshmallows, gummy bears or anything you need your back teeth to eat since he only has 8 teeth.

Just to compare...Morgan at 1 year was 20 lbs. and 29 1/2 inches long. Baby Graham might grow up to be bigger than Big Sis one day! :)

Awww...They are two of the sweetest babies I know and we love each and every minute with them!

Lil' Slugger's 1st Birthday Party

Graham loves to play ball so that was my inspiration to have a baseball themed party for his 1st birthday. I found Lil' Slugger plates online and I was able to find a lot of good "baseball party' ideas from different websites. Bit by bit over the last week I put together different decorations and I was very pleased with how everything turned out and I believe the birthday boy was as well!

Happy 1st Birthday, Graham!

Graham turns 1 tomorrow. My how time flies when your having fun! He has been such a blessing in our lives and he brings so much joy and happiness to us everyday. We can't imagine life without him.

He has grown into such a sweet little boy.

Happy Birthday Handsome!!

Here is what he is doing at 1 year.

Has 8 teeth!

Goes to bed around 8ish and wakes up around 8.

Still takes a little cat nap in the morning around 10:30 and takes a two hour nap in the afternoon (1-3). It is perfect because that is that same time Morgan naps so Mommy gets a little break. :)

He prefers table food now and hasn't really turned down anything. He loves dessert. He gets so excited to see cookies, cake or ice cream. He takes after his mommy!

He loves his dog blankie.

He loves to play with Morgan and he is starting to wrestle with her. She loves it that he is really starting to interact with her.

He says Mama, Dada and babbles other things that we can't really understand.

He is not walking yet but getting very close. He stands up on his own without holding on to anything and has taken a couple steps but he prefers to crawl because he can get places fast that way.

He is wearing 12-18 month clothes, size 4 diapers, size 4-5 shoes.

He can clap his hands and wave bye-bye and tries to blow kisses at times.

We are going to meet with an ENT tomorrow for a consultation about getting tubes in his ears.

He has moved into his big boy carseat.

We are having his 1st birthday on Saturday, January 8th. We are having family over for a baseball themed party. Pictures of his party to come!
