This house hunt is stressful to say the least! We have looked at about 24 houses and Bryan and I are on pretty opposite ends of the spectrum. He is all about location, which I agree, is VERY IMPORTANT but it has been very difficult to find a home that I like in the area that we would love to be in. A lot of the homes we have looked at are older homes and need to be updated and I would rather find a newer home and not have to do all the updating. The GREAT news is that we found one this week that we both LOVE and made an offer on it today. It is a short sale so we have to wait to hear back from the bank which could be a more drawn out process than if we were dealing with the sellers directly. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out.
Our home sale is still holding strong (knock on wood). We had the inspection on Thursday and the appraisal was today. So far so good - we are still scheduled to close on August 25. Less than 2 weeks away but we aren't letting that slow us down. :) Last weekend we went to El Campo to visit family and this weekend Bryan is playing in the Member Member golf tournament at WCCC, leaving us one weekend to pack! Yikes! I got motivated today and started packing some of the kitchen cabinets and got 6 boxes packed. Not much but it's a start!
Here are a few pictures from last weekend in El Campo.
The kids LOVE playing outside in Nonny's big backyard...
One of Morgan's favorite things these days is to color and she is getting very good at it. She talked the boys into coloring with her...

We headed out to the cotton field to let the kids see the tractors and all the cotton. They weren't too sure about sitting on the tractor...
