Sweet and Sassy

This is one fun salon for little girls to get pampered. We went today for Morgan’s 3rd haircut and she had a ball. She was excited about getting her lollipop so she jumped right into the chair and enjoyed her lollipop while the stylist trimmed, dried and curled her hair. Then she was ready to play on the runway.

We then, of course, went to look at their accessories and let her pick out a treat. She wanted a necklace so that is what she got. It is very cute!

It was a fun morning for us. Graham was as perfect as can be which makes our outtings so easy. I feel very fortunate that I am able to stay home with them and do these fun things.

The Baptism of Graham Bennett

On Sunday, April 25th, Graham was Baptized at First United Methodist Church in Mansfield.

Here are a couple pictures of our little boy ready for church.

After Baptism we invited our family to Walnut Creek County Club for lunch. We are so thankful that our family was able to witness Graham's Baptism and spend this special day with us!

Graham's 1st day with a babysitter....

We took Graham to spend Friday with Bryan's aunt Sharon so that I would go out and enjoy the day playing in PSK's annual golf tournament at Squaw Vally Golf Club. Sharon did a great job with him as we knew she would. It is so nice to have family close and willing to spend time with our kiddos. Graham told us about all the fun he had on Friday. Thanks again Sharon!! We had a great time at the tournament. Bryan's team won the scramble at 17 under - very impressive!! My team played very well but we only managed to get to 13 under. We love our time on the golf course and now that the weather is warming up I am sure we will be spending more time out there, even if we have our kiddos in tow. Here are a few new pictures of the kids.

Three Months Old

Graham is now 3 months old. We thank God daily for the incredible blessing we have in Graham. He has started "talking" a lot and we can occasionally get him to giggle. It is so cute to hear his sweet little voice! He has also discovered his hands and he is good at getting them in his mouth. He has never liked his paci but I have caught him several times with his pointer finger in his mouth. I am hoping he is not going to be a thumb sucker!

We took Graham in for his GI appointment on April 1st. We almost decided not to go because he has been so much better but Graham's doctor suggested that we go ahead and go. Dr. Hunt checked him out and retested his stools and there was no blood. She didn't feel the need to run any further tests. She suggested to continue everything we are doing (Nutramegin, prevacid, mylanta and cereal in bottles) until he is 6 months old and then gradually try to reintroduce a milk based formula and see if he can tolerate.

Other facts -

*Weight - 12 lb. 7 oz.
*Clothes size - 3-6 months
*He still loves his baths so he gets 2 a day.
*Loves riding in the car. We recently had to take his snuggler out of car seat because he was getting to big for it plus it is getting a little warm.
*Drinks 6-7 bottles a day (3-4 oz. each)
*He is still losing his hair and what he still has stands straight up.

As soon as I think we have him on a schedule something changes. He had one night where he slept 11 hours straight. Most nights he eats around 7-8 pm and then wakes up at midnight and has a bottle and then sleeps until around 6-7 am. Not terrible but could be better. He always naps between feedings during the day. He normally eats, stays awake for awhile and then naps before he eats again. I am trying to stick to the Baby Wise way.

Best Little Brother

There is nothing sweeter than moments like these. They love each other so much. It melts my heart when they smile and talk to each other.

Easter 2010

We packed up and headed to El Campo for Easter. We are so lucky that we have two babies that travel good. It would be a long 4 1/2 hour drive if they didn't like the car, but luckily they do. This was our first trip as a family of four and it was great, a little more work...but wouldn't trade it for anything. Graham got to meet more of his family and Morgan got to see everyone again. We usually go to EC once a month but Thanksgiving was the last time we were there, so this was a much needed visit.

On Friday evening we went to my Uncle Daniel's house for dinner. It was great to see everyone that evening. He cooked crawfish, oysters, fish and shrimp and it was so yummy! We never go hungry in El Campo. Morgan was excited to play with Baby Colton (or Baby Coltie as Morgan calls him). Here are a few pictures of them.

After dinner we headed back to my mom's because all the babies were ready for bath and bed. Here is Nonny and Graham. My mom's grandma name was Grams but now Morgan is calling her Nonny so we will see what ends up sticking but for now, Nonny she is!

My mom had everyone over to the house on Saturday for our early Easter. The last couple years we have celebrated Easter with the whole family on Saturday because we all leave to travel back home on Sunday. It works out great because we get to spend the majority of the day with the whole family. Here are some pictures of the day. For some reason I didn't get Morgan and Graham with there Easter baskets but they got a lot of treats from the Easter Bunny.

The weather was beautiful and Morgan spent the majority of the day outside. She had a blast.

Uncle Troy threatened to buy live bunnies, chicks or rabbits for the kids this Easter but thankfully he opted for cotton candy instead. He always brings treats and Morgan loves it, however she wasn't too sure about the cotton candy that he brought this year.

Getting ready for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Graham slept right throught the Easter Egg Hunt but get ready for next year...he will be right there with them.

Ready, Set, Go...

She had a lot of fun hunting eggs, balls and anything else she could find. Look at her basket, she has the Nemo ball in it. LOL!

Having fun with the Jackson and Brianna

After the hunt the girls continued to play and have a good time.

A fun day was had by all!!

We tried to get a picture of Nonny with Morgan and Graham, but this is all we got.

We had a great time and loved spending time with everyone. Morgan has been asking to go back to Nonny's since we got home on Sunday. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Happy Birthday Gammy!

Thanks to Julie's great idea and hard work, we successfully pulled off Judy's birthday surprise on March 27th (a week early). It was a big surprise and she enjoyed the afternoon visiting with family and friends. Here is a family pic that we got at the party.

Judy - thanks for being a loving mom, great mother-in-law and amazing Gammy. We love you so much!
