School's Out!

Thursday was the last day of preschool for the kids.  They have both had an amazing 1st year at First Faith! We were blessed with fantastic teachers who loved them to pieces and taught them so much.  They were wonderful!!  The kids were very excited about "splash day" on Thursday.  I didn't get to stay for it but they told me they had fun with sprinklers, bubbles, playing with shaving cream and eating snow cones.

After school on Thursday, we headed to Lifetime to swim.  Starting the summer out right...

While the kids enjoyed school, and I enjoyed the time, I am excited that we are off for the summer.  We are ready to play!  Hope you all have a Happy Summer!

Morgan's First Dance Recital

We celebrated Morgan's 1st dance recital tonight.  She has been taking dance at the MAC for 4 months.  It is a introductory class to ballet and tap.  While they do dance, it's more just for fun and to get the kids used to following directions, learn some basic steps and have a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday, Bryan!

This past week we celebrated Bryan's 33rd Birthday. He truly deserves the best for all the hard work he does for himself and our family.  He is a great person, extremely hard worker, wonderful father to our kids and a fantastic husband to me!  Bryan - You are amazing and we love you!!

Summertime is almost here!

  It has been nice and warm the last couple weeks so we have gotten a little taste of what summertime will be like.

 We went to the Fort Worth Zoo last week with Jennifer and Clayton and had a blast.  We hadn't been in a long time.  It was probably Graham's 1st trip to really enjoy it.  So fun!

 We also ran into see the Dwinells there.  They were there for a birthday party.  We tried to get all the kids together but this is the best I did!  Ben, Addyson, Graham, Clayton and Morgan

I have been taking the kids to swim at Lifetime's indoor pool.   Just trying to get them comfortable and ready for the swimming season that is quickly approaching. They have had a great time playing and Morgan has started to practice a little of her swimming.

 Today we went with our friends, the Vicaris and Dwinells, to the Fort Worth Childrens Museum.  It was my first time there.  It is very cute and the kids loved all the little activities.  Here are a few pictures of them at the  doctor's station...

It was a fun first trip. It will be a great place to visit this summer because most of the play areas are inside and the kids can stay cool.  

We have had a great last couple weeks and I am looking forward to a fun-filled summer with my little cuties!  

 

Easter 2012

Finally -- my Easter post!  I feel like I have been so busy the last month that I haven't had time to blog.  And the new format on Blogger has taken me some time to figure out.  But now I've got it somewhat figured out so I can get caught up.  

The Easter Bunny visited us on Good Friday before leaving for El Campo.  They got lots of good, fun surprises.  

In El Campo the weather was beautiful so we all enjoyed a lot of outside time together.  Colton brought his four wheeler and the kids had a blast on it.   Graham's driving made me a little nervous.  I was one paranoid mom.  As my brother-in-law calls it...OPMS (Over Protected Mom Sydrome).  He was dangerous behind the wheel...running into cars, fences, you name it!
