The things we do to stay cool...

After a few weeks of triple-digit temperatures, I can easily say that I am ready for Fall. Two things I love most are summertime and being outdoors but with two babies and this heat it is nearly impossible to do anything outside. Thank goodness for our pool - that is about the only thing we can do outside these days.

While we are inside we get creative on how to keep the kiddos entertained. One evening last week we let the kids dress up in costumes and play. Last year I got Morgan a bumble bee costume for Halloween and she refused to wear it. Maybe I could talk her into wearing it this Halloween?? She has already told me a few different things we wants to dress up as this year, so who knows what she will be??

Here is our Silly Bee!

My sister gave me Colton's Halloween costume incase Graham wanted to use it this year. I think there is more to this costume but I didn't get it all out. He won't be able to wear this warm cozy costume unless it's a cold Halloween. It did work great for our dress up night, though.

Here is our little Monkey.

Here's to hoping Fall will come soon so we can get back to the park, zoo and all the other fun outdoor activities that we have been avoiding this summer.

Haircut #4

We went to one of Morgan's favorite places on Monday...Sweet & Sassy to get a haircut. Morgan was wonderful for Ms. Tiffany. She sat completely still while Ms. Tiffany cut her hair, blowed it dry and curled it. Then Ms. Tiffany sprayed glitter in her hair and put two pink glitter stars on her check. Morgan loved all the sparkle!! Morgan then picked out a lollipop on her way to play on the runway. Morgan LOVES this place and has already asked a couple times since Monday if we can go get her haircut again.

Being a big girl...

Snacking on crackers while watching Morgan get her haircut...

Busy eating her lollipop...

An inch shorter but still has a lot of hair...

Back to the Hawaiian Falls...

After her first waterpark experience I am just happy that she wanted to go back. She had been asking for a couple weeks if we could go to the waterpark so Bryan and I took her last week. It was so great to have Bryan with us this time. He was a big help to me and of course, Morgan had a ball with him there. We played in the sprinklers and wave pool the majority of the time. Bryan slipped away a few time to ride the Torpedo. :) Morgan didn't want to go back down the slide where she fell last time but I don't blame her. No accidents this time - just a ton of fun.

Graham is 7 months old

I am so thankful that I am able to stay home with our babies because I cherish all of the fun moments that we have together each and every day.

The kids are at such a fun age. It is very fun watching them interact. Morgan loves that Graham is mobile and can play a little more. They laugh at one another and love each other so much. It is precious!

At 7 months here are some things Graham is doing...

Having 4 6 oz. bottles a day - Without cereal in them!
Has 3 meals a day. This boy loves to eat.
Snacks on crackers
Drinks water from sippy cup - with help.
Sleeps 10 hours a night. Usually 8:30 pm - 6:30 am
Takes 3 naps a day and usually sleep everytime he is in the car - Good traveler!
Crawls everywhere (army crawl)
Loves to play with balls and chase them around
Pulls up to standing occasionally
Wears 9 month clothes
Goes for every plug/cord he can find - We can't take our eye off him.
Down to one dose of prevacid a day - I believe his reflux is better!
His eyes are still blue
Weighs around 18 1/2 lbs. He is a BIG boy!
He is a very happy boy and still looks just like his daddy!

Here are few pictures!

His big smile!

Playing...

Looks like he is up to something...

Likes to stand up in his bed when he wakes up and LOVES when we walk into this room to get him...

On the move...

The Cliffs at Possum Kingdom

We went on our 2nd annual golf trip this past weekend with some friends from WCCC. I played with these wonderful ladies in the Pro Lady Qualifier in June and we finished 2nd. Since we didn't qualify for the Pro Lady Championship in Austin we decided to go on a weekend getaway with our husbands to The Cliffs at PK. The golf course is beautiful and very challenging. It was a relaxing, fun weekend with many great memories. Here are a couple pictures from the weekend.

The whole gang -

We hope to qualify for the Championship next year, but it not, I am sure we will plan another fun getaway!!

And, a BIG Thank You to Gammy and Pops for babysitting our babies. You all are the best and I know they had a fun weekend with y'all.
