Christmas 2010

What a great month this has been for our family. It has been so fun to watch the excitement in Morgan's eyes with all that we have done this Christmas season. We had fun attending Christmas parades, visiting Santa, and we enjoyed our many nights of riding around looking at all of the beautiful Christmas lights. She has loved it all and so have we!

This year Santa visited our house on the 23rd because we were leaving for Nonny's on the 24th. I didn't think we were going to get Morgan to go to sleep because she was scared of thought that Santa was going to come in and leave presents while we were sleeping. Daddy assured her that Santa would leave presents by the front door and not come into the house and she was fine with that. On Christmas Eve morning we found everyone piles of presents in the living room with there stocking. Morgan was super excited when she woke up, she ran to wake Graham up right away. So cute but Graham seemed to be more interested in snoozing that morning. Morgan plowed through all of her presents and then she helped everyone else open theirs. Morgan got everything she asked for this year and more...a princess tent, drum set, backpack, barbies, barbie convertible, Dora microphone, new DVDs, new baby doll, Candy Land, princess CD player, a see saw, an ice cream truck, clothes and more. Graham got a lot of fun toys too...a wagon, new workbench, Thomas the Train track and trains, elmo, a mouse pillow pet, toy trucks, football, new DVDs, a John Deer nap mat, a boat for the bathtub, clothes and more. Santa brought mommy a Babolat tennis racket and brought daddy new headphones and a golf lesson because he knows that mommy and daddy like to live an active lifestyle and what better way then having new equipment. :) I was busy getting our Christmas at home on the video recorder so I didn't get many pictures.

After presents and playing for awhile we packed and heading to El Campo for Christmas. We haven't been in EC for Christmas the last 3 years so it was nice to be there this year with the whole family.

This time they all took at bath together before heading out to look at Christmas lights...Don't you think they all resemble each other?

We packed 3 babies and 6 adults in my mom's car to look at lights. Fun times! :)

Then on the 28th we had our Christmas with the Baughmans. It was a great week of spending time with all of our family. We are very blessed!

Excited about more Christmas...

Helping Gammy open her gifts...

And helping Pops with his...

He was more into being a little monkey this year. He was wanting to jump on the couch instead of opening presents. Next year he might be more into opening gifts...

Now that Christmas is over, we have to move into birthday mode. It makes me sad to think about how fast our babies are growing up. We are going to have a 1 year old and 3 year old in one month!!

Brunch with Santa

We went to WCCC for Brunch with Santa last Sunday. It is always a nice event and a great opportunity to get pictures with Santa. Morgan told us that she would sit with us for a picture and that she didn't want to sit on his lap so that is what we did. One of these days (probably a long time from now) we may get a picture of Morgan and Santa but until then we keep taking family pictures with him.

Graham's 1st Christmas and 1st visit with Santa.

The kids are very excited about Christmas and Santa. Morgan and Graham received personalized letters in the mail from Santa which was very cute. There was a bag of reindeer food to spinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve so that Santa can find our house. We will make sure to do it because these kids have been so good all year and Santa will be good to them. Hope you all have had a chance to visit with Santa. He will be heading this way very soon!

11 months old

Our baby is growing up too fast. Before we know it we are going to be celebrating his 1st birthday.

Here are a few new pictures of our little boy.

Some of his 11 month facts...

He drinks 3 bottles a day.
He has 8 teeth.
He still eats some baby food but likes to feed himself real food.
I am guessing that he has outgrown his milk allergy because he loves ice cream.
His little ears have been giving him trouble. He has been on antibotics for awhile now. :(
He still takes a cat nap in the morning (30-45 minutes) and a good nap (about 2 hours) after lunch.
He is not walking yet. He stands on his own at times but hasn't taken any steps.
He claps and waves Bye-Bye.
He says Mama and Dada and babbles a lot.
He is wearing 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.
He weighs around 22 lbs. It is almost time to move to his big car seat.
He did great sitting on Santa's lap this year. Pictures to come soon.

Thanksgiving 2010

What have I been so busy with lately that I am just now getting around to blogging about our Thanksgiving??? Let me think...decorating for Christmas, chasing the kids around, Christmas parties, baking yummy treats, working on Santa's list and lots, lots more! :)

This Thanksgiving we stayed in town and spent this special time with Bryan's family. Bryan's brother Blake and his wife Danyelle and their kids, Austin and Callie came to Texas for the holiday. It was so fun to have the entire family together. Morgan and Graham don't get to see Austin and Callie much so they loved every minute of their time with their cousins.

Bryan and I started Thanksgiving Day by running the Walnut Creek Country Club Turkey Trot. We planned to push the kids in the stroller but it ended up being too cold and baby Graham had an ear infection so we dropped them off with Gammy and Pops. It was a cold and windy morning but still a great way to start the day!!

Then we headed to Uncle Brent's and Aunt Julie's for Thanksgiving lunch. Here is one pic that I got of the 4 kiddos. They were pretending to be on a train ride. :)

Morgan - almost 3, Callie - almost 2, Graham - 11 months and Austin - 3 1/2

On Friday, Judy had a Baughman get-together at her house and invited all of the extended family. There are so many grandkids and she thought it would be fun to get all of them together to play and it was indeed!!

Later that day we got the kids in their reindeer shirts and got a picture of all of them with Pops and Gammy. So sweet!!

It was a great, family filled weekend and I was sad to see Sunday come and Blake's family head back to FL.

We are so thankful for all of our family and friends and all of the great times like these that we share together!
