Graham's 4 month update

On Friday I took Graham to see Dr. Archer because he was a little fussy, not sleeping well, threw up a couple times and not really interested in eating. She said he had a virus and a sore throat so we started him on Tylenol (the generic brand). Today we went in for him 4 month check up with Dr. Sampson. She said his throat is still a little red but felt like it is the tail end of the virus. I hope so! I am ready for him to start drinking full bottles (4oz+) again and get back to his usual sleeping routine. He has only been drinking 2 oz. bottles because his little throat hurts and that means he wants to eat more often, even through the night.

Graham's 4 month measurements are below:

Weight - 14 lb. 3 oz. (50th percentile)
Height - 26" (75th percentile)
Head - 17" (75th percentile)

She said he looks great and very average.

Dr. Sampson recommended that we continue him on Nutramigen for a few more months and continue putting cereal in his bottles to help with his reflux. He has sounded congested/snorty since he was born and she said that is pretty normal for babies with reflux. She said when he sounds better that will mean his reflux is better. As far as baby food goes, she said that since he is getting cereal in his bottles she would wait until 6 months to introduce fruits and vegetables unless he is having 32 ounces of milk a day and still acting hungry. We aren't there yet!

He had his 4 month shots today and did great. We are hoping our little guy's throat starts feeling better soon.

Yesterday Bryan set up the exersaucer and it was a big hit. Look at this big smile!!

Morgan also had fun playing!
