No resting this Labor Day - Bryan competed in his 1st Sprint Triathlon - The Blackland Tri in Plano.
His friend, Casey encouraged him to sign up. Bryan loves having fitness goals so this was right up his alley. I am proud of them for wanting to accomplish something of this magnitude. Training for an event like this takes real discipline, both mental and physical variety.
The kids were busy the night before the race making their cheer signs...
Look at those great coloring jobs!!!
The cheerleaders with signs, whistles and a blow horn to help cheer on Daddy, Casey and everyone else!
Casey heading out of transition 1...All smiles
Waiting to see Daddy after his swim...He started about 5 minutes after Casey
Go Daddy!!!!
Bryan leaving transition 1...Looking pretty serious
Go Daddy!! We Love You!
Casey making his 1st lap...
Bryan's 1st lap on bike...
Finishing up the bike ride
Transition 2...about to take off on run
Bryan and Casey met up on the last mile of the run.
There was just a little bit of rivalry between the two of them. :)
Coming across the finish line!

Labor Day was hotter than heck...
The kids had so much fun at the race!
Bryan and Casey - A little tired but they did awesome!!
Bryan's mom was a great cheerleader as well as a big help to me.
