3 hours of sleep...
Makes for a tired baby, mommy and daddy. At least Morgan is a sound sleeper and she still managed to sleep right through Graham’s screaming last night. Yesterday Graham was fussy but I didn’t think too much about it. He was spitting up more than normal, coughing, choking, and gagging with every bottle. Around 9:00 last night the screaming began. Bryan and I passed him back and forth, rocked, walked, talked, sang, cuddled and tried everything else we could think of to make Graham calm down and nothing worked. Around midnight I got him asleep in his swing and we slept for an hour until he woke up screaming again. This went on all night aside from the 3 hours of sleep that we managed to get. We got in to see the doctor this morning and he showed her how unhappy he is. She checked him out and said he throat is a little red but that is all that she found. She doesn't think that is what is causing him to be so unhappy. She increased his prevacid dosage to twice a day and we are going to start giving him Mylanta after every feeding. If he doesn’t get better by the end of the day we are headed to Cook’s for xrays and blood work. We are praying that our little guy gets to feeling better. It is an awful feeling to listen to your baby cry for hours and not be able to do anything to make him feel better. I should have taken him for a ride in the car last night or given him a bath…two of his favorite things. We were planning to leave for El Campo today but the doctor suggested we stay put for now and continue to monitor him to determine if we need further tests. We were all looking forward to going to visit my family and if he seems better by morning we may head that way then. Most importantly --- we want baby Graham to feel better and be happy and hopefully we can all get more rest tonight!!

Poor little guy! It is very hard to see your baby in pain!! I hope they get his GI issues figured out soon. There is a GI Dr at cooks that was recommened to me by some of the Drs we see in Dallas. We nearly went to see this guy before the boys GI Dr got things figured out. If you need the name let me know.
