Houston Aquarium and Weekend in EC

This past weekend we made a trip south to visit my family. Friday we met Kristie, Brian and Colton at the Houston Aquarium. Morgan and Colton enjoyed the fish in the aquarium but LOVED the outdoor activies. They rode the carousel, ferris wheel and jumped in a bounce house. We were planning to ride the train but the line was an hour wait and we didn't want to stand in line that long with 2 toddlers and a baby. Maybe we will catch the train next time. :) Here are a few pictures from our afternoon at the aquarium.

In parking lot...heading in

Graham was watching the fish while Colton was eyeing Graham's toy :)

The kids 1st ferris wheel ride - They loved it. Daddy is not a fan of heights but he was fine. Get ready Daddy - this is the first of many theme park rides. :)

Morgan and Aunt Kristie jumping in octopus bounce house.

Auntie was bouncing Morgan. She had a ball!

After we got our fill at the aquarium we went out to dinner and then went to Kristie and Brian's for the night. Here are a few pictures of the kids playing outside. Morgan loved her time at their house because she got to play with all Colton's toys.

Playing with the Tootin' Turtle sprinkler. We have swimsuits for them - I promise. They just played a few minutes before bath time so we didn't go to the trouble of getting them on.

Being silly...

Bubbles....

On Saturday we went to El Campo to visit to rest of the family. It was a good, relaxing weekend. This trip Morgan and Colton played so well together and they were so fun to watch. Graham was scootin around all weekend and watching them. It won't be long before Graham is right there with them being so silly. It is fun to have all of them close in age.

They love their Uncle Troy!

We love our time in El Campo and look forward to all our visits to come.

One SMILEY Six Month Old

Graham is already six months old. It really makes me sad that our babies are growing up so fast. They are such blessings and we cherish every moment with them.

Graham is such a HAPPY baby. He is ALL SMILES. Today when we were at the doctor for his well visit the nurse kept bringing people (other nurses and doctors) in to show him off because he was grinning from ear to ear and loved all the attention he was getting. He is such a HAM!

His appointment went great.

Here are his measurements.

Weight - 17lbs. 12 oz. (50th percentile)
Length - 27 1/2 (80th percentile)
Head - 17 1/2 (75th percentile)

Some others things is doing...

Has 4 bottles a day (6-7 oz.). We are still putting cereal his bottles to help with reflux.
We tried re-introducing milk based formula but he wasn't taking it. We will keep him on Nutramigen for now.
Eats and likes all Stage 1 foods. Eats a veggie and fruit for lunch and dinner. Time to move to State 2 foods.
Take 3 naps a day.
Usually sleeps from around 8pm-7am.
Getting very good at sitting on his own.
He is starting to crawl/scoot around.
Wears 6-9 mo. or 9 month clothes.
Wears size 3 diapers
Has 2 bottom teeth and loves to get them brushed
He has started drinking from a sippy cup (with help)
He is not a very vocal baby yet. He can squeal but he is not babbling yet.
Started using his bath chair that helps him sit up and play. He loves to splash!
Still takes 2 baths a day.
Likes to be outside swimming or swinging.
Likes to go on stroller rides
His little hands shake when he gets excited. Dr. said this is normal. :)
Likes to watch Baby Einstein
Loves Morgan to pieces, enjoys watching her every move and listening to her talk

Here are a few recent pictures.

This place is the BEST

In my opinion, Abbey's Playtown in Grand Prairie is the best place around for young kids. The place is always super clean and safe, with lots of toys. Bryan took the week off last week and we loved having him home with us. We had a week full of fun! One morning we went to Abbey's and the kids loved it. It is always fun to find new things to do inside to get out of the summer heat.

Having a ball!

The blue swing was taken, Sorry Graham. He didn't mind the pink swing. He would have swang all day!

Giddy Up!

Beep, Beep!

Here I come!

"What do you want me to do, Mom?"
