A Day at the Farm...

We spent this morning at Country Critters Farm.  

It is a fun little farm and the kids enjoy it every time. 

First stop was the petting zoo...  

Next they played on the tractor...

Then is was time for a train ride.

We all went on a hayride, the kids jumped in bounce houses and then we went to the pumpkin patch.  The kids each picked out a pumpkin to take home. 

Lastly, they visited the storyteller and enjoyed some apple cider and cookies.  

It was a perfect little outing on this beautiful fall day!

The days are getting shorter and the evenings are getting longer...a perfect time for crafts with the kids!   

Working at the Pumpkin Patch...

Last week we volunteered to work at the First United Methodist Pumpkin Patch.  

It was a fun, fall family evening of working, taking pictures, picking out our pumpkins. playing, and picnicking.

It was a nice night out and a perfect opportunity to talk to the kiddos about helping in the community.
