Easter Egg Hunt at Rose Park

First United Methodist Church - Mansfield had the annual Egg Hunt on Sunday. Graham hadn't been feeling well but we still headed out for the event and he was a trooper. We met Gammy and Pops at the park, enjoyed a short worship service with some singing and then it was time for the egg hunt.

The family

Morgan racing around to fill her basket...

Daddy helping Graham...

Mommy showing Graham the goodies inside his egg...

Morgan found her Gammy...

Too busy to smile for a picture...

Looking for the candy...

Pops and Gammy helping sort through the all the eggs, bunnies and candy they found.
Daddy and Morgie on their way to get some cookies...

Pops and Graham following right behind...

It was a beautiful day for a walk in the park...

Or to just sit and relax...

Or to play...

We love our silly boy!

And our sassy girl!!

It was a fun church outing and afternoon at the park!

Trip to the Mall

It was an eventful one to say the least... On Saturday we made our annual trip to Studio One to try and get a couple cute pictures of the kids with the bunnies. We have done this the past several years because our kids are afraid to sit with the Easter Bunny so we don't force it. Instead we try to get their pictures with live bunnies. Kristie and her family were in town this weekend for a wedding so Kristie and Colton went with us. OMGoodness. It was SO HARD to get a 1 yr old, 2 yr old and 3 yr old to cooperate for pictures!

After our time visiting the bunnies we headed to the horses.

Then we walked over to the Easter Bunny to see if they, by chance would want to sit with him. But, of course not. Morgan and Colton didn't want to get out of the stroller and Graham waved through the fence so I took him up close and he screamed. Not surprising, but thought it was worth a shot. :)

Then we had lunch and then it was time to say their good-byes.

First Cleaning

So, this week was a week of appointments for the kiddos. They both got haircuts this week, Graham had his 15 month appointment and today was Morgan's 1st cleaning at the dentist. Last summer she spent quite a bit of time at the dentist after her accident at the waterpark so she became very familiar with Dr. Lumsden's office and the staff. Last summer she always had to sit on our lap during her appointments and was very selective as to who she was going to look in her mouth. That might have been because of her age or because her mouth was hurting and she wasn't confortable. But WOW, what a difference 6 months makes. She did absoultely PERFECT today! I have been talking up her appointment and promised yogurt if she was a big girl during her cleaning. I know, I know...Ice cream after a cleaning, call me crazy, but it worked!

Excited about her dentist appointment!

She jumped right into the big chair by herself with no fear!

She let them take x-rays and then got ready for the cleaning.

She let Ms. Sherry count her teeth, polish, rinse and floss them. They said it was her "Happy Appointment" and that at 3 they just hope to make it a good experience and they would do as much or little as she allowed them to do. She was the PERFECT patient and they did everything they possibly could have done to her little teeth. Lastly, Dr. Lumsden looked her over and he was very happy with how her front teeth have healed since last summer's accident and told us the x-rays looked good. She got a new tooth brush and stickers on her way out. What a excellent 1st cleaning for our big 3 year old!!

And then as promised...A little yogurt from Purple Berri

Happy kids with tummies full of sugar!

After cute haircuts, Graham's shots, and Morgan's dentist appointment we are ready for a fun weekend. Hope you all enjoy yours!!
